DCL has over 200,000 square feet of combined warehouse space dedicated
to inventory management and warehousing of components
and finished goods. Our warehouses are clean, well-marked and the
inventory is clearly identified to increase accuracy and provide better
protection of clients' critical inventory. All incoming materials,
customer-purchased or DCL-purchased, undergo stringent inspections
and quality checks. If they are accepted, each raw material or finished
good is bar coded and stored appropriately.
The DCL facilities are capable of handling a wide variety of products. Our inventory management and warehousing facilities are equipped with standard racking, carousel and slant rack bins to handle small items, segregated and secure storage for high-value products.
DCL adheres to standard (internal) cycle counting requirements regarding method, frequency and documentation and are performed on a daily basis. The items are either randomly selected or are determined based on activity level, customer request, or special requirement.
Security
DCL facilities are secured 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Motion sensing
and surveillance cameras along with security personnel are employed
throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas.
eInventory
eInventory, an eFactory
module, provides customers with information to their inventory and
warehousing activities at DCL. In eInventory, customers can see current
inventory quantities, receipts and transactions for a specified time
period, and supply and demand quantities. Customers can also set min/max
levels to re-order inventory.
